Tall Bearded Iris 

One of the first Tall Bearded iris to flower, often flowering with the dwarf bearded iris in mid September. Standards are an opalescent blend of lavender grey with a honey overlay at the midribs and a ¼" edge of honey cream. Falls are golden honey, deepening slightly at hafts. Beards are gold over white. Produces show stems but is too early for any iris shows, but that's not to say you can't enter it in a general flower show. 

Iris flowering season commences in early October  and if weather conditions are ideal can continue well into November. Orders will not be dispatched until after flowering, it is important the rhizome is given time to put on growth after flowering so we aim to dig your order early December, weather permitting. Our rhizomes are trimmed washed, sanitised and left a day or two to dry, this makes your buying experience a positive one.
