OUR BRIDIE Timothy John Taylor Aus 2025  Flowering Early to Mid-Season 32” 81.5cm 

Tall Bearded Iris 

2025 is the year of registration and introduction by Riversdale Irises joint owner and hybridiser Tim Taylor.  Standards are white with a slight violet blush. Style arms are white with a slight violet blush, falls are a dark blue-violet with a thin light violet edge, white markings at hafts; beards are dark orange in the throat, dark orange at the middle with a light violet tip. It has a slight sweet fragrance; seeds from Randell Lieschke. 'Calling' X 'Dinner Talk'.

Be amongst the first to acquire this iris. Our Bridie was named for Bridie Briget Taylor, Tim's mum who passed away at the age of 98. Bridie immigrated from Ireland as a young woman with her sister. A lovely lady who was accepting and hard working. This variety has great garden appeal provides a show stopping display and cannot be overlooked This variety has show stems, great substance and a slight sweet fragrance. Beautiful! 

Iris flowering season commences in early October  and continues well into November weather permitting. Orders will not be dispatched until after flowering, it is important the rhizome is given time to put on growth after flowering so we aim to dig your order early to mid December, weather permitting. Our rhizomes are trimmed washed, sanitised and left a day or two to dry, this makes your buying experience a positive one.   If you can wait the ideal time for planting is February - April.
