Tall Bearded Iris

Standards are salmon flushed pink. Falls are creamy white with a 3/8' edge of bright orange. beards are yellow orange. Good branching and high bud count. This put on an awesome show during our flowering season, very popular  with our visitors. ((Chief redskin x Bronco Brown) x Speculator) x (Oktoberfest x Good Show) received AM in 2005. Popularity of the name Barbara, must have something to do with the high demand of this variety considering it has been in the market for many years.

Iris flowering season commences in early October  and if weather conditions are ideal can continue well into November. Orders will not be dispatched until after flowering, it is important the rhizome is given time to put on growth after flowering so we aim to dig your order early December, weather permitting. Our rhizomes are trimmed washed, sanitised and left a day or two to dry, this makes your buying experience a positive one.

March 2025 Orders are currently being processed Autumn is the optimum time to purchase and plant iris in Australia as it is after the heat of summer and there is still time for iris to put their roots down and make some growth before winter.

Please Note:

As a bio security requirement all orders received from Western Australia and Tasmania require a Plant Health Certificate and treatment of plants before an order can be processed and dispatched.
