ALL IN-VEIN Thomas Johnson USA 2021 Flowering Early to Mid-Season 32”

Tall Bearded Iris

Imported by Riversdale Irises the year it was introduced at Mid-America Garden in the USA and after spending required time in quarantine, minimum of 3 months, it arrived at our property in 2022, it is important that imported varieties are given the appropriate time to acclimatise to being in the southern hemisphere, and also recover from the fumigation process that is a requirement for plant material entering Australia.

Not offered before in Australia. Be amongst the first to acquire this iris.  This variety is described by the hybridiser as having very light grape standards with deep purple veins almost completely covering the petals. Petal edges are surrounded by a gilt gold narrow rim. Falls are deep purple with white rays extending out to the centre of the petal then becoming solid purple with a stitched lavender rim. the backs of the falls are striped and veined all the way to the edge giving a very cool effect especially when in bud. Bright orange beards and feathered white style crests complete this wide ensemble. Truly Striking! This was awarded an Honourable Mention in 2023 and Award of Merit in 2025.  This variety has show stems, great substance and a musky fragrance. It is just wow!

Iris flowering season commences in early October  and if weather conditions are ideal can continue well into November. Orders will not be dispatched until after flowering, it is important the rhizome is given time to put on growth after flowering so we aim to dig your order early to mid December, weather permitting. Our rhizomes are trimmed washed, sanitised and left a day or two to dry, this makes your buying experience a positive one.   If you can wait the ideal time for planting is February - April.

If you have a specific time that you wish to receive your order, please sent a text message with you invoice number through to 0413188375 with your request.

Please Note:

As a bio security requirement all orders received from Western Australia and Tasmania require a Plant Health Certificate and treatment of plants before an order can be processed and dispatched.
